LAYR is independent. We are not paid by fragrance brands, and no shop influences our recommendations. The layering ranking is based solely on the compatibility of fragrance profiles — not on commissions.

How we make money: if you click a "Buy now" button and purchase at a partner shop, we receive a small commission. The price for you doesn't change. This revenue keeps LAYR alive and ad-free.

Legal: under §§ 5, 6 TMG and UWG, promotional links must be labelled. That's why the "Buy now" dialog is clearly marked as a referral to partner shops, and links carry the HTML attribute rel="sponsored".

Your choice: whether or not you use an affiliate link is entirely up to you. You can buy directly at any shop of your choice — the recommendation stays the same.
